Tractor work
Field Mowing
Overgrown fields, knee-high grass, brush-choked acreage — that's tractor work. We bring our tractor to take down field grass, fire-fuel loads, and pasture overgrowth that's beyond what a string trimmer or push mower can handle. Most jobs are 1–2 acres at a time; we'll scope larger parcels in stages.
What's included
- Tractor mowing of fields, pastures, vacant lots, and overgrown acreage
- Fire-fuel-load reduction in the Zone 2 / 30–100 ft band around structures
- Cut-and-leave (mulch) or windrow-and-haul depending on conditions
- Access-path mowing for emergency vehicle clearance
- Before/after photos on request
Who this is for
Rural property owners with fields or pastures that have grown out, absentee owners getting a parcel back into compliance, and anyone needing fuel-load reduction ahead of fire season. We focus on the practical clearing side — not landscape design or pasture planting.
How it works
- 1
Site walk
We confirm access (gate width, slope, soft spots), measure the area, and scope haul-off vs cut-and-leave.
- 2
Scheduled mow day
Most parcels of 1–3 acres are a one-day job. Larger or multi-pass work scheduled in stages.
- 3
Optional haul-off
If you don't want windrows left in place, we'll trailer the cut material out separately.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How big of a field can you mow?
- Our tractor handles most residential and small-acreage rural parcels comfortably. For very large parcels (multi-acre with no structures nearby) we can scope in stages or refer you to a heavy-equipment operator if it's beyond our setup.
- Will you mow on slopes?
- We mow moderate slopes safely with our tractor. Very steep terrain (above ~25°) we'd need to walk the site first to determine whether to mow or hand-cut for safety.
- Do you remove the cut material?
- Either way. Windrow-and-leave is included; trailered haul-off is an add-on we'll quote based on volume.
